Dave Carothers is managing partner of Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP, a law firm specializing in employment, labor, and immigration law.

An experienced trial attorney, having tried more than 75 cases to verdict in jurisdictions throughout California, Carothers has successfully defended employers against claims of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, breach of contract, ADA, wage and hour violations and discrimination. Additionally, he has served as lead trial counsel in complex representative actions, class actions, and coordinated actions involving hundreds of claimants.

Drawing upon his trial experience, Carothers also advises management teams in the human resources area on how to achieve positive and productive work place environments. His clients include educational institutions, national retail chains, religious institutions, and hospitality, banking, and technology companies. He is also frequently invited to address various groups as a speaker on issues related to trials of employment matters, employment law, and diversity in the workplace.

After earning his bachelors at CSUDH, he went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center. He has been named to the Best Lawyers in America list from 2013 to 2015, San Diego's Top Attorneys list from 2013 to 2016, and named as one of San Diego Super Lawyers from 2012 to 2016.
