1) A paper of 15-20 pages (not including references);
2) An original thesis statement based on ideas, theories, and findings presented in your course of interest;
3) A clear plan of investigation in analyzing your thesis statement in the paper;
4) The use of references beyond your course text, articles, and/or lecture notes (exact number of outside references will be determined by your faculty adviser);
5) Proper grammar, sentence structure, and clarity;
6) Regular meetings with your faculty adviser(s) on the paper to discuss your writing progress (exact number of meetings will be determined by your faculty adviser);
7) At least two revisions to your written work per comments offered by the faculty adviser(s) (exact number of revisions will be determined by your faculty adviser);
8) On time submission of the final paper product during the semester you are to complete the Capstone Paper.
