Free Software: Did you know that there is a suite of free software available to you as a student. Login to MyCSUDH and find the “software Launchpad” for the full suite. It can all be downloaded remotely.
Laptop checkout: Students can checkout laptops for FREE: techcheckout.csudh.edu
University Library Services: Students can use the CSUDH Library's Text-to-Speech conversion (provided with the support of Division of Information Technology) This alternative way of reading provides students the flexibility to listen to their course reading materials while doing something else at home. In addition, we know learning/reading needs repetition! Students can easily revisit their reading materials using this service.

The CSUDH Writing Center supports writers at all levels as they prepare, draft, and revise their writing for various courses, departments, and programs. We support all writers across our (virtual) campus, including students, faculty, and staff, and we offer additional services for teachers of writing in all disciplines.
The CSUDH Writing Center is open for the Fall 2021 semester in an online capacity Monday, August 23rd—Friday, December 10th

Student Health Center (SHC) services are now operational reduced hours Monday - Friday.
Students seeking medical care will need to call our general office number 310-243-3629 during our hours of operation, calls will be taken by clinical staff who will determine if the person can be assisted and treated through tele-medicine, or seen in person. Instructions will be given on this call. Please know our doors are locked for safety purposes, but we have staff on-site available to do their best to address your health care needs. Again, call first: 310-243-3629. We have compiled some useful information (financial issues, housing and food assistance, legal help, etc) click here that students may find helpful during this COVID19 crisis. The Student disAbility Resource Center is focused on making sure CSUDH students with disabilities have full access to the university’s educational, cultural, social, and physical facilities and programs. We provide a centralized source for information for students with disabilities as well as faculty and staff who work with them. Our services are aimed at helping students with disabilities realize their full rights to reasonable accommodations, as well as the ability to advocate for themselves, participate fully in campus and learning environments, and reach their educational goals including graduation.

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) assists military veterans, service members, and their dependents in successfully navigating their college experience. We provide personal and academic advisement, workshops, and holistic personal and professional development opportunities to help students’ transition to CSUDH. We believe veterans possess unique abilities and characteristics that, when nourished, will help them succeed inside and outside of the classroom regardless of their age, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, physical, or mental abilities.
