Look for Us Around Campus!

Health Education and Promotion has several programs and events designed to promote and enhance the health of CSUDH students. These activities aim to educate students about various health topics and encourage healthy behaviors in a fun way. You can find our events through the Toro Link platform. 

Lets Collaborate

Health Education and Promotion is always looking to collaborate with student groups and organizations at CSUDH. If you would like to participate in any of our events or develop a specialized event with us, contact us by using the Request Forms tab on the left.

HIV Testing

We've partnered with Bienestar to bring rapid HIV testing to the CSUDH campus. HIV educators are equipped to test participants for HIV and provide education on safer sex, risk reduction, and Pep/PrEP education. Participants will receive a free gift for testing. Look for the testing mobile parked behind the Student Health Center.

Healthy Tuesday

Our Healthy Tuesday outreach events promotes Student Health Services while including relative college health topics. You can find us at the LSU East Walkway from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Follow us on Toro Link for more information.

  • Tuesday, October 17 - Nutrition Basics, free flu shots
  • Tuesday, November 14 - Cold and Flu Prevention, free flu shots
  • Tuesday, December 5 - Birth Control Basics, free flu shots

Health Fair

Student Health Services hosts a Health and Wellness fair every semester. This event brings together campus and community organizations to share resources with CSUDH.

Wellness on Wheels

Our Health Mobile likes to zoom around campus offering health education to students. Look for our pop ups located on different areas of CSUDH for education and giveaways. Be sure to follow us on social media @torohealth to see where we'll park next

MRP-455 Healthy Eating Support Group

Dr. Sophia Momand host the MRP healthy eating support group. This group provides students with useful tips to eat healthy and manage their weight.
