MSW Founders Scholarship

Dr. Larry Ortiz, the Department’s founding Chair of 2006 established the Founders’ Endowed Scholarship to provide financial support to continuing masters level social work students who are committed to social justice. He is responsible for bringing Critical Race Theory to the MSW Department. He continues to support the MSW Department through the MSW Founders Endowed Scholarship.
