The School of Public Service and Justice is committed to promoting the values of public service and justice through inclusive high-quality education, research, and community engagement. SPSJ recognizes that there is a central role for government and other public-serving organizations to identify, mitigate, and rectify challenges to the public’s welfare. The School is committed to providing students an education that addresses the nature of systemic inequality and injustice in our public institutions and communities by engaging scientific research and critical analysis of public service and policy. SPSJ also serves neighboring communities and seeks collaboration with regional organizations to promote public wellbeing, ethical governance, and justice. The School is committed to facilitating teaching, research, and service excellence through the appointment, development, and retention of an interdisciplinary faculty.
