Transparency Act (AB524)

AB 524 requires fraternities and sororities to report to host institutions specified information concerning members, conduct and housing. This information will be compiled annually and publicly maintained on each institution’s Greek Life internet homepage or for a minimum of 10 years. The information is also sent to every enrolled student. The law requires institutions to suspend campus recognition of any sorority or fraternity that does not comply.

Unrecognized Organization: Sigma Pi Fraternity

As of January 2020, the Eta Iota Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity, International is NOT a currently-recognized student organization at CSUDH. This third-party organization has no affiliation with the University.  Students should take caution in affiliating with this organization.
