Alternative Transportation Services & Resources
In collaboration with the Parking Office, which offers several services and amenities to students and employees to support ride-sharing and alternative transportation, the Office of Sustainability provides additional education and support for accessing these modes of transportation to:
- Help provide economically efficient resources for commuting to campus.
- Comply with CSUDH’s Climate Action Plan for carbon neutrality by 2040.
- Decrease traffic congestion and increase traffic flow.
- Support decreased contributions to local air pollution.
- Promote physical health and social benefits associated with using greener modes of transit.
Alternative transportation helps improve air quality, decrease climate change impacts, and saves users money! Please visit our alternative transportation resources below to learn about benefits you are entitled to as a student, faculty, or staff member of the CSUDH community. Additional transportation and parking resources are also located on the Transportation Services (Rideshare) webpage.
- Need an easy way to connect to the Metro Blue Line and/or Harbor Gateway Transit Center from CSUDH? Take the campus Toro Express shuttle that stops on Victoria on the north side of campus. Check the current shuttle schedule on Transportation Services' Rideshare webpage here: https://www.csudh.edu/rideshare/toro-express/
