Kelly Herman is adjunct faculty at California State University Dominguez Hills. Prior to her time at Dominguez, she worked for 17 years at Laguna Playhouse while doing professional theatre, television, and film work. At Laguna, she acted frequently on their main stage and in touring productions. She served as Associate Director of Youth Theatre, Education, and Outreach where she directed main stage productions, taught classes, and administered the program. She was a part of Lagunas award-winning Theatre Reach educational outreach program and worked on 16 tours playing to tens of thousands of Southern California children. Prior to Laguna, she was co-founder of the Metropolitan Arts Conservatory and Assistant Managing Director at Long Beach Playhouse. Kelly has acted in over 500 equity performances and is a member of AEA. Kelly has a BA in Acting and Directing from California State University Long Beach and holds a MFA in performance from the prestigious Rutgers University Professional Actors Training Program.
