The Toro CARE team works alongside faculty, staff, and students to address student behavior requiring multiple responses while at the same time balancing the needs of the student with those of the greater Cal State Dominguez Hills community.
What Happens After a Referral is Submitted?
A Toro CARE staff might reach out to the individual who filed the referral to discuss the concern or obtain additional information.
The referral undergoes a review and evaluation by the Toro CARE team.
An outreach email or call is sent to the student, inviting them to a meeting with a Toro CARE Coordinator.
A plan is formulated in collaboration with the student.
