TTLA Program Overview:
Toros Teach L.A. is an innovative program created preparing socially just, culturally mindful educators to transform the learning environment for children in under-resourced schools in the Los Angeles region.
The TTLA program comprises two initiatives, Early Childhood Excellence and Black Educator Excellence, focused on preparing students to become educators who are culturally mindful, and inclusive of all students they serve at under-resourced schools in the Los Angeles area.
The Early Childhood Excellence initiative offers pathways into the new PK-3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Instruction Credential.
The Black Educator Excellence initiative celebrates and sustains black educators across the Los Angeles region.
