Course Description:

Fast Fashion is a global business model where the mass production of cheap clothing, designed to be discarded and replaced as quickly as possible, creates a toxic system of overproduction and overconsumption. This disposable clothing industry is one of the largest polluters of clean water, contributes to environmental degradation and climate change, and many garment workers face extreme exploitation. As consumers and as human beings we seek to understand the scale and complexity of the problems and work to find solutions that will make conditions sustainable and environmentally regenerative for ourselves and generations to come.
