Course Description:

Are you interested in social justice issues? Do you want to learn concrete ways to quantify injustice and work to effect change? In this course we will use mathematics and data to explore, examine, and respond to a variety of current issues involving social equity, power, and fairness. Through interactive class sessions, we will explore different topics including: fair housing wages, racial injustice, equity in education, and the disproportionate impact of COVID on members of particular groups.
