Course Description:

This course focuses on the experiences of Ethnic Women of Color and how they navigate U.S. education. The course is designed to encourage students to theorize, explore and identify how Ethnic Women of color experience, race, class, gender, sexuality, immigration, and power in educational institutions with a heavy emphasis on higher education. Throughout the course students will consider examples of resistance and strategies for building racial and gender alliances toward social justice in education.
