The CalVet College Fee Waiver (CCFW) is a state benefit. It is part of the California Department of Veterans Affairs. It is not directly affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and it is not a federal education benefit.
The CalVet CFW waives mandatory system-wide tuition fee at any State of California Community College, California State University, or University of California campus.
IMPORTANT: The CCFW does not cover extension programs, this refers to all summer and winter courses, as well as any programs operated by the College of Continuing & Professional Education (CCPE). The CCFW also does not cover student fees, health fees, parking fees, books, etc.

How to Use the CCFW - If you have already been approved for the CCFW and are admitted to CSUDH, please submit a copy of your authorization letter to us via a secured Dropbox link below. You may also bring a copy to our office in-person during office hours.
Each authorization letter is valid for one academic year. Please renew annually as needed.
