Favorite aspect of working in the Writing Center: My favorite aspect of working in the Writing Center is connecting with students and their writing. I’m grateful that many have decided to share their experiences, ideas, and cultures with me, and it’s my hope that they continue to do so.

Fun fact:  I grew up in a devout Lakers Nation household, but I am (and always have been) a Clippers fan.

Favorite aspect of working in the Writing Center: Watching abstract ideas become concreate via the writing process! I love learning about all the different disciplines outside of English, and I get to have some awesome conversations with students at various stages in their academic career. 

Fun fact:

Favorite aspect of working in the Writing Center: I learn so much from the students who visit the writing center. I love meeting students from a variety of levels and disciplines, and helping them find and develop their strengths as writers. 

Fun fact: For the first four years of my life my family lived in a cabin in the Rocky Mountains with no indoor plumbing. I was six weeks old when my parents took me rock climbing for the first time.

Favorite aspect of working in the Writing Center: My favorite part of working in the writing center is being able to collaborate and work with amazing colleagues and students on all kinds of writing projects.

Fun fact: A fun fact about myself is that I have a shameless Twilight obsession and know a little too much trivia regarding the movies and novels.

Favorite aspect of working in the Writing Center: My favorite aspect about working at the Writing Center is connecting with students. I find joy in helping students improve and gain confidence in their writing skills. 

Fun fact: My favorite genre to read is fiction, I can never pass up a good action movie, and my Spotify playlist ranges from Los Tigres Del Norte to Olivia Rodrigo.
