PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
Dr. Chhetri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth Science and Geography with specialization in Biogeography, Climate Change and Vegetation Response, and Geospatial Technology. Currently, Dr. Chhetri is working on research projects related to the factors structuring treeline dynamics in the Nepal Himalaya using ecological tools (Dendrochronology), spatial models (Species Distribution Modelling), and geospatial technologies (GIS and RS). Dr. Chhetri is also mentoring undergraduate students in project related to shrub cover mapping in the Nepal Himalayas, and GIS and RS applications in the urban environment context.
