Preparing for Graduation
Students who are getting close to graduation or currently have 90 units should apply for graduation.

How to Register for Commencement
After applying for graduation, students should also contact the program advisor at orgleadership@csudh.edu to make sure any necessary course substitution requests have been submitted, and they have/are completing the major and minor requirements.
The process of conferring degrees takes approximately four to six weeks and begins two weeks after grades are submitted at the end of the general university semester.
Once the degree is conferred and posted to the transcript, an email is sent to the student's CSUDH email address and a diploma is requested.
Diplomas are mailed directly to the student's address. Students may update this address by accessing their my.csudh.edu account. When the diploma is shipped, students will receive a second notification in their CSUDH email address. If you have not received your diploma after two months, contact the Graduation Unit at graduation@csudh.edu or call 310-243-3645.
