The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory systemwide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).

Credit and Debit Card Payment Non-Refundable Convenience Fee
A 2.75% non-refundable convenience fee is charged to all credit and debit card payments. This fee goes directly to the third party processor TouchNet® PayPath™ to cover fees charged by the card companies. Debit cards are processed as credit cards and are subject to the 2.75% non-refundable convenience fee.

Students are fully responsible for meeting the payment deadline even if a bill is not received. Failure to make a payment by the deadline may result in disenrollment from courses. Account balances are available through MyCSUDH and by calling the CCPE Registration Office at (310) 243-3741 (Option 1).

Financial Aid

Students wishing to be considered for Summer financial aid must complete and submit a Summer Financial Aid Request Form, which will be available shortly. By submitting this form, the Financial Aid Office will allow students to defer their summer registration fees and their classes will be held from disenrollment. Students will be notified via their CSUDH e-mail account of their summer aid eligibility.

Students whose financial aid does not cover the full amount of their summer fees, or who are deemed ineligible for financial aid will be responsible for paying the balance of their summer fees. Additionally, a hold will be placed on their student records and the summer fees will need to be paid-in-full along with Fall fees to avoid disenrollment from Fall classes.

Students planning to borrow a Federal Direct Loan must be enrolled in the minimum required units. Students, who are not enrolled in a minimum of 6 units (undergraduate) or 4 units (graduate) during Summer Session I, will have their disbursements delayed until the start of Summer Session II.

Please note: Because students will be enrolling through the College of Continuing and Professional Education for their summer classes, State University Grants can not be offered to assist with the payment of registration fees.
