Product management is the process of guiding a product's lifecycle from development to execution, with the focus on what customers want. In partnership with Product Management Institute, CSUDH is offering an online Product Management Fundamentals Certificate program to provide participants with practical knowledge about product management.
In this single-course, 8-week, asynchronous online program, students will cover market research to agile methodologies and gain hands-on insights for success in this dynamic field. Whether you are a seasoned professional looking to pivot your career or advance in your role, this program will help you think and work like a product manager, confidently applying these fundamentals into your organization.

Courses are delivered fully online in an asynchronous format, with no campus attendance required and the flexibility to work at your convenience. Each week, instructors will provide guided content and post assignments with due dates on our Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Please note that these courses are not self-paced and do require participation.
These asynchronous modules generally require approximately 4 hours of activity per week. Attendance and participation is required for credit, and an 80% or higher passing grade is required to earn the certificate.
Please note that more course offerings may be available in the future. Spring courses are posted in early October, Summer courses are posted in February, and Fall courses are posted in early March.

Dr. Jillian Zambon is an accomplished healthcare executive, having worked for large healthcare systems such as Dartmouth, Fresenius, Charles River Labs, and Mercy Hospital. She holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with a focus in healthcare administration and comes with a strong product and project management background–focused primarily in healthcare information technology.
She has joined the speaking stage with individuals like Dave Seymour, from A&E’s show Flipping Boston, and worked with entrepreneurs like Wes Bergmann, MTV star of The Challenge and Real World. She even joined Season 6 of Wes Bergmann’s show, The Blox, in which she was the winner of the entrepreneurial competition! She is also a two-time best-selling author and a published doctoral author as well.
She served 5 years in the U.S. Navy as an engineer and has maintained her love for fitness since leaving the military. In her free time, Dr. Zambon enjoys spending time with her daughter and dog, exercising, reading, baking, and traveling. Dr. Zambon also volunteers for the board of directors for the Uyeno Foundation, an organization that serves to provide mental health support services and educational tools for individuals and families to be accessible and attainable for all.
A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon successful completion of the required courses.
Note: Once you have completed all the required courses, you may request your certificate via our online application. The processing time is approximately 6-8 weeks from the time of submission, and includes both a digital certificate link and a printed physical certificate.

The program is taught asynchronously online. No campus attendance is required, and there are no set days and times for classes online.
Students will receive instructions as to how to establish their campus login credentials approximately 2-3 days after registering for a course. These credentials will enable students to login to CSUDH's learning management system via the MyCSUDH student portal. If you do not receive login information once you have registered, please contact the registration office at 310-243-3741, option 1.

The deadline to enroll for courses for most certificate programs is FOUR (4) BUSINESS DAYS or earlier before the class begins; course schedules are updated daily. If a course in which you are interested is no longer displaying in the course schedule, please be aware that its registration deadline may have already passed, or the course may have already reached capacity. Review the schedule for alternate dates, or sign up for Program Updates to be notified of upcoming classes.

If the course you want to register for has a prerequisite, after selecting "Checkout & Pay", you must Log In using your CSUDH campus credentials so that the system can verify that you have completed the required prerequisite course.
